Touch is a communications company with a heart. Their focus is on helping small and medium-sized local businesses to understand and connect with their customers. They do this primarily online, using social media channels and email. Using companies existing customer databases to create relevant and desirable messaging and updates for each identified segment is quite integral to the process.
Having grown in size and focus, they needed an identity that captured both what they are all about, and where they are going. It was crucial that the identity convey what they do while showing their personalised, hands-on methods. It had to relate to the tech and social media landscape, without being overly off-putting and inaccessible. Their clients were often unsure of what Touch actually does, and did not understand how it can help their businesses.
The design solution lay in a hand-drawn logotype, representing Touch and its services. The letterforms are rooted in Irish uncial typography, helping to create a sense of familiarity in their rhythm and forms.
Surrounding the logotype are a series of organic capillaries, connecting each type of person (circles) with each other and with the businesses. The colours were chosen to reinforce the sense of customised tech solutions and calm professionalism. The overall effect is one of harmony, energy and humanity, perfect for this tech company with a heart!
